Knock, Knock: Impatient & Alienated

Bible Passage: Genesis 3: 1-8, 22

Summer is here, and with it, we begin a new focus in our messages, one directed by the words of Rev 3:20, “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” Not only that, but per the new Provincial Health Orders, KGF will be opening its doors to Sunday morning worship without restrictions, beginning this Sunday at 9am! We are excited to welcome you back to come sing, engage with the sermon, and resume fellowship with one another. The news from the BC government about this transition was a bit abrupt, so here’s what you can expect this Sunday (future Sundays may be a bit different):

Singing: Yes! Expect something simple and to see our livestream recording set-up!
What to expect for your Kids: Kids will be joining us in the service and we’ll have some things they can do to keep occupied. Parents don’t worry about the noise, but if you need to step out, the nursery room will be open for you, we just can’t stream the service there yet.
Preaching: Yes! Pastor Levi is sharing with us this weekend, be ready to listen and engage in the discussion question after the service.
Fellowship: Yes! You can hang out with each other afterwards (masks are not mandatory) in the hub or in the sanctuary. We invite you to think about how you might contribute to making our after-service fellowship time a good space for real conversation and connection going forward. Talk to us if you’d like to help make it happen!
Giving: We can receive your donations via online giving or the offering drop box outside the library. We’re so grateful to have the opportunity to meet as a larger community again, and hope you’ll take the time to come and join us!

Together with you in Christ,
Pastor Levi
