Mark 2:1-12

Four men bring a paralytic to Jesus. His problem is clear, isn't it? He can't walk. His condition impacts his economic well-being, his relationships, and the way he is perceived and understood. From what humans might see the disability is the problem.

And then Jesus comes into the story, and what Jesus sees is surprising and shocking. Jesus sees differently and he is the presence of God's new reign in a world that completely changes how we are to see and be fully and flourishingly human as well. Jesus is ALL THAT.
