Mark 7:24-30

Jesus cannot be controlled. He is who he is and seeks who we really are to make us the fully free God created us to be. He longs for us to bring our true selves and our deepest darknesses to him. The question is, will we?

God will burst any confined box created for him - whether religious, cultural, or even atheistic. God is holy, not controlled by us, and whenever a human being seeks him with true, honest desperation he responds with tender power.

We need our view of Jesus expanded and our heart cry to become more honest. And, on that journey, it is often the most unexpected who model the way.
