October Lunch with a Bunch

Our senior's Lunch with a Bunch group had a wonderful lunch and time of thankfulness on Tuesday, October 22nd.

We enjoyed a delicious meal of turkey casserole, salad and pumpkin pie. Many of us brought antiques to display or place on our tables, and as we ate our lunch, we shared stories about our lives and the history behind these treasures.

Dianne interviewed seven people, each sharing unique stories about their antiques, which allowed us to get to know one another in a unique way.

Our antiques helped us reflect on being thankful for both our personal histories and our current lives.

Mel shared about his family and the international ministry he and Val have been deeply involved in for many years. It was deeply emotional to hear about the many women set free from a life of sexual abuse and slavery when the Lord moved into their country through this ministry. We were amazed by how God has changed lives around the world as the Lord has guided and moved through Mel and others.

We concluded with singing and a time of prayer.

You are invited to join us on Tuesday, November 19th for another time of fun, music, inspiration, and of course, a delicious lunch with Lunch with a Bunch!
