Marriage Course
The Winter 2025 edition of KGF's Marriage Course received some of the most positive feedback to date. Hosted by Todd & Gaye Ringness, 10 other couples joined in the weekly sessions that included especially fine dining by our own Chef Maximillion. All respondents gave the highest rating possible for satisfaction, relevance, and helpful for their marriage.
"I received a new perspective; instead of 'her faults and my needs', it's now 'my faults and her needs. And active listening has become very important to resolving conflicts," reported one couple. "A significant difference in our marriage!" Another couple said their key takeaway was learning to take any given issue and imagine it placed in front of the two of them, instead of leaving it between them. "It's important to continue feeding our relationship, just like a plant, a child, or even an animal, and to keep God in the midst of our relationship by all means," shared another couple. Other comments included much appreciation for the important reminder of weekly "date nights" and that it doesn't matter how long you've been married, that it's worth investing the time to take this course.
The highest rated of the seven weekly sessions were about strengthening connection, the art of communication, and how to practice love in action. All respondents said they were willing to serve at a future Marriage Course. The next offering of the Marriage Course at KGF is planned for this Fall. Thank you to everyone who participated and may God continue to bless and enrich our KGF marriages!
