November Lunch with a Bunch
On Tuesday, our 55+ Lunch with a Bunch group had a wonderful time as we celebrated The Joy of Giving. As always, the lunch was delicious, and the fellowship around the tables was meaningful.
Nancy shared about the ladies' ministry at Harmony House, and Wanda told us about the men's ministry, Freedom's Door. For some of us, it was the first time hearing how men’s and women’s lives are being transformed through carefully planned, community-based, Christ-centred programs. Our volunteers and personal connections are making a difference, and now we know better how to support these ministries through giving, prayer, and volunteering.
We brought gift bags, candy, and Christmas cards for the residents at Harmony House and Freedom’s Door, taking time to personalize each card to encourage someone this Christmas. As always, we closed in prayer, specifically for those who would receive our gifts and cards.
We are already looking forward to our next gathering on Dec 10th at noon. Registration starts this Sunday at the info desk. Join us then for a Christmas carol singalong and more fun time together.
