Baptism & Membership Classes
Baptism & Membership
Water baptism is an essential sacrament of our Christian walk. It's a public declaration that as we go down into the water we choose to kill our sinful nature and as we rise up out of the water we choose to take on our identities as God's children.
Membership is how churches extend welcome to those who are committed to building up this local expression of Christ's body, this local church, and it is a practical way of knowing who gets to have a voice in the future direction of our church. We invite you to explore baptism and membership with Pastor Joel and Pastor Shawn. (* Lunch is provided!)
WHEN: Sundays, April 21st & 28th after the service
WHERE: KGFYouth Room

Mentoring Workshop
Following the Jesus Way
Many of us struggle with believing we are qualified or even ready to be a mentor/discipler and miss the opportunities to trust Jesus and ourselves within a mentoring role. Moreover, most of us don't have a mentor, so what should we look for in a mentor?
Please pray about being more empowered and equipped to mentor others OR learn about what to seek in a mentor. We all need people paying attention to our lives.
Join Nancy Tordiffe and Garth Walker on Wednesday, Oct. 18th for one of our Mentor's Workshops and become more prepared to walk alongside others, just as Jesus invites and actually commands us to.
Cost is $20. which includes the book “A Mentoring Guide” or $5.00 if you already have the book.
To learn more, read HERE about Mentoring Myths and HERE about Mentoring Heart to discover a brief overview of what you will learn in this workshop.
